The CB Inn has an excellent function room facility in a separate wing to the main bar and restaurant, which was opened in May 2005. We can offer a relaxed and informal environment in which to enjoy superb food set in stunning scenery. In April 2012 were successful in our application to hold civil ceremonies so you can hold your wedding and reception all in one venue.
The 'Terrace Room' has an open truss ceiling, making it light and airy and with magnificent views over to Scar House, and with the added advantage of having its own private bar, The Terrace offers an ideal venue for any intimate gathering, such as weddings, christenings and private dinner parties. All our food is cooked and prepared on the premises to an exceptionally high standard by our dedicated team of chefs using only the best locally sourced seasonal produce.
Licensed for civil ceremonies the C18th CB Inn is the Ideal venue for the perfect wedding.In April 2012 we were successful in applying for a civil ceremony wedding license which means we can now cater for your wedding ceremony and reception all in our ‘terrace room’. Enjoy your wedding set in breath-taking scenery with views of Arkengarthdale and after the ceremony while you are enjoying your reception drinks and having your photographs we will transform the 'terrace room' ready for your wedding breakfast.
The Charles Bathurst Inn offers 19 award winning en-suite bedrooms*, for your guests to stay with us while enjoying your celebrations and a further 11 en-suite bedrooms* are available at our sister establishment The Punch Bowl in nearby Low Row.
