These spaces have a rich history. Rooms that once served as the director’s office or the library have been transformed into attractive reception areas.

The museum’s varied spaces are ideally suited to a broad range of events including conferences, receptions, meetings, gala dinners and concerts. There are large bright spaces as well as smaller atmospheric rooms for smaller groups of people. Use of rooms
Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has five spaces that are suitable for large or small groups. These elegant rooms exude the glamour of the 1930s, when the museum was built, yet meet all the requirements for modern events.
Auditorium
The auditorium is a conference room with a stage and fixed seating for 200 people. The space is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, wireless microphones, digital video projector, slide projector, overhead projector, laptop etc.
Frame Room and Tile Room
Both rooms have a maximum capacity of 14 people. With tables in a rectangular arrangement, the rooms are ideally suited for meetings, courses and workshops.
Former library
A peaceful space that can accommodate 24 people with tables in a rectangular arrangement or 65 seats in rows for lectures, conferences etc.
The pavilionThe Van Beuningen-de Vriese Pavilion has a stylish ambience ideal for receptions, product presentations or large dinners. It can accommodate 400 guests standing or 300 for a sit-down dinner. The pavilion is hired only outside the museum’s opening hours. It affords a beautiful view of the museum’s famous sculpture garden and surrounding park. In fine weather you can also make use of the summer terrace.
