As soon as you enter boutique hotel 'de Pauwenhof', opened in December 1999 in a historical building from 1642, you can 'taste' the building's history and the staff's passion for service and hospitality. It will give you a subtle sense of first-class care and attention that will prove very realistic when you enjoy our cuisine and the hotel's 15 air conditioned non-smoking 3-star Deluxe double rooms. The hotel, centrally located in the city’s heart at just a stone’s throw away from the historic town hall, provides an ideal setting for an exclusive wedding party with lodging facilities for the guests.
The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Room amenities include Satellite TV with free movie channels, telephone with wake-up service, wireless broadband internet (KPN HotSpot), trouser press, ironing equipment, room safe, mini bar, and a private 'pink marble bathroom' with bath tub and shower, toilet, hairdryer and guest supplies. Each room also has a seating area with working desk and Nespresso coffee/tea making facilities. An elevator is present. Pets are not allowed.
Hotel 'de Pauwenhof' boasts a splendid restaurant that can cater for private lunches, dinners and other family and/or business gatherings from 12 up to 50 persons. All catering activities are carried out in joint co-operation with restaurant ‘le Courage’. Nigel Hitches, the chef-owner of this renowned restaurant, prefers to select the best seasonal produce as offerings, prepared with great passion, perfect for those who appreciate honest, creative and quality cooking. Vegetarian, sugar free, gluten free and guests with milk or nut allergies are more than welcome.
