Charming and personal
Housed in a Dutch national monument designed by architect Greve in the mid thirties, this typical example of ‘haagse school’ style architecture is definately worth a visit. Inside you will find a homely and relaxed environment where the genuine bakery profession still prevails. All cakes, scones and other delicious treats are made daily fresh and on the spot.
The ground floor and terrace is available for daily guests while the 1st and 2nd floor are used for receptions, meetings, groups and high tea. The bread and home made jams but also a selection of sweet and hearty cakes are on sale in the shop.
You can find the Bakkerswinkel in the city center at Torenstraat 142, close to the ‘’grote kerk’’.
