An enchanting Wedding Venue in Cornwall
Port Eliot is one of the most enchanting places in Cornwall.
This idyllic setting, with the imposing house overlooking stunning parkland, is the historic seat of the Earl and Countess of St Germans, home to the Eliot family for over 400 years. The house is still very much a family home and has a long history of hosting amazing events. You will be beguiled by this magical house and gardens. The grade I listed house and park and ancient woodland garden, will provide stunning photo opportunities on your wedding day.
We have five locations licensed for civil ceremonies. The Drawing Room, with its magnificent views of the Repton Park, can accommodate 80 seated guests. The Dining Room with its roaring fire makes a sumptuous venue for 100 guests. The Conservatory and Library provide intimate spaces for the smaller wedding party. The Orangery, with its secret garden and chandeliers entwined with silk flowers, can accommodate 120 guests.
At Port Eliot we can also provide beautiful locations for your marquee reception. The Boat House Lawn is a hidden gem in the woodland garden, with views over the Lynher estuary. Or perhaps you would prefer the Park with the magnificent Port Eliot house and St German’s church as your romantic backdrop.
We aim to ensure you have a highly individual and exclusive wedding. We revel in unusual ideas! Every wedding is unique.
