Thank you for considering The Gingerbread House as a venue for your upcoming event. You are cordially invited to come for a no-obligation tour, visit, and consultation at your convenience. We welcome the opportunity to assist you in making your great event one that is above and beyond what you or your guests imagined. Though we have partnered with many companies over the years, we strive to make each event unique and exceed the highest expectations of each and everyone involved.
The venue fee is approx. $2500 on Friday and Sunday and $3000 Saturday. We have recently remodeled our grand ballroom. I am certain you will fall in love immediately when you enter our beautiful historic home. Upon booking we offer a venue manager. Her fee is $150.You must either have a wedding planner, day of coordinator, or director for your day of the wedding. We make it our goal for to make your day stress free and run smoothly.
We are currently offering a Spring Special! This includes 1 Free Night stay at the Gingerbread House for up to 15 guest. So you and your bridal party could stay overnight the night before and have plenty of time to relax and get ready for your big day! If that doesn’t sound exciting you could choose to use the Stay over for just you and your husband on the night of your wedding. This is a $1000.00 Value absolutely for free as long as you book before July 2015.
You will also see our Venue offers a gorgeous Victorian architectural detailed home with beautiful high ceilings and original interior in this two-story wood framed house distinguished by porch and balcony with elaborate oval picture frame brackets between turned posts and balustrades. An example of "steamboat Gothic gingerbread carpentry. The Gingerbread House offers a venue full of Southern Charm and spacious rooms which includes a beautiful grand ballroom with a built in English Pub bar, elegant chandeliers, and a mezzanine overlooking the grand ballroom. Two additional rooms to include Dining room and sitting room with high vaulted ceilings and beautiful chandeliers, perfect for champagne toast or passed hors d’oeuvres. Deluxe Bride and Groom rooms as well as additional rooms available for your wedding party.
Packages include: the VENUE, host and hostess, linens, tables, chairs, staff, set up, clean up and more. We are very particular to detail! We are the winner of several local Savannah awards. In addition The Gingerbread House is managed by The Mackey House which has also won the “Brides Choice Award” of Georgia from Wedding Wire three years in a row. We are very proud of these awards and promise each bride we will work just as hard to make her wedding special in every way.
