K&L Photo are Kristian and Lou Atkins, a professional yet amiable Husband and Wife team that share a passion for Photography. The notion behind K&L Photo is to provide clients with a diverse selection of photographic expertise. We each possess our own styles and specialise in separate areas of photography, yet we share distinctive characteristics that intertwine and infuse when we work together, providing our clients with not one perspective, but two. We specialise in a broad range of areas such as, architectural and interior based photography, portraiture, events, product and food photography. Our different areas of expertise enable us to provide our clients with a comprehensive range of imagery and creativity.
We met eight years ago during our Art Foundation Diploma at Stockport College. Kristian achieved a BA (Hons) Fine Art Photography Degree at Stockport College Cheshire, whilst Lou completed her Degree in Photographic Arts at the University of Westminster, London.
Our aim is simple, to provide visually engaging work that challenges our creativity and to provide the client with a fusion of ideas that befits our expectations.
Lou's 'Make Believe' series won her a Fujifilm Distinction Award in 2007. This body of work was also featured in the graduate edition of Creative Review, Sept 2007.
