Having been in the fashion industry for some time, I have a tendency to see things differently, thus my photos take on a different feel. I love beauty, and I see it in most everything. I suppose that's why I love to photograph. I get to capture the beauty in life, and that photo is forever the keepsake.
I love when I edit the weddings I've shot, as I get to relive them. Family portraits are always a blast, as I get to have so much fun with the many personalities. Single portraits are very intimate, and it's great to see the person evolve right before my eyes as they become more and more comfortable, and I get that great shot of their true self come through my lens.
Special events are always a surprise because I never know how it's going to go. People have a tendency to be a bit nervous at the start and somewhat shy, so the camera is not what they are running towards. I have to really make myself approachable so that people will feel that they can trust me and my camera, and then slowly, the personalities start to blossom. Then the magic starts, and my camera begins shooting sparks.
