Sosan specializes in meaningful, mindful and creative wedding ceremonies. She often works with couples who want a spiritual component their ceremony, but may not belong to a regular "church."  As a Zen Priest, Sosan is skilled at being calm and present, and helping couples to breathe and enjoy one of the most important ceremonies of their lives. In planning the ceremony, she will listen to your needs and desires and craft a script that expresses your true selves. Sosan is LGBTQ positive, experienced with multi-faith ceremonies and willing to travel. She also provides optional premarital counseling.

We met with Sosan a few times before our wedding ceremony to discuss the integration of Buddhist practices with Christian/Catholic ones. Because my husband is Vietnamese raised in a Buddhist and Catholic family, and I am Swedish raised in a Protestant Christian family, it was important to find an officiant who was comfortable and respectful doing this synthesis for us that would include both of our family's faiths.

Sosan was the perfect fit not only theologically, but also personally. She was very professional, thorough, and available throughout the process. Sosan exudes patience, non-judgment, and quiet respect.
