I specialize in playing the hammer dulcimer for wedding ceremony music, and the cocktail/reception hour. My style is a mix of modern and classical, and include tunes, such as: Yellow, Viva La Vida and Life In TechniColor by Coldplay, Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros, and Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
I approach the ceremony much like a a movie. Every part in the ceremony is a different "movie scene" with specific music selected to fit each scene. For example, I do a minimalist original composition while the bride and groom speak their vows - called "Epic Vows".
I have been playing the hammer dulcimer for over 13 years and performed at over 50 weddings in the California area.
