Don't wait for a moment - Make it
Passion comes in many forms. For us, it’s seeing it captured and shared, then re-lived again.
A winter day, a foot of snow (deserving to be played in), and our 4-yr old. I dashed for the camera and started capturing the excitement. But being behind the camera was not enough. Capturing it was not enough. I wanted to be in the moment. I put the camera down and joined in this once-in-a-lifetime moment. What I didn’t know, changed our lives. Angel picked up the camera and was taking up where I had left off. Then it happened. That moment in time that we can look back on and enjoy over and over and share with friends and family: The snowball was in mid-air, the camera zoomed in on my daughter’s face and… Well, you know what happened. My wife yells at me, our daughter is crying, the siblings are laughing, an idea is born.
Looking back, because we can, we get to enjoy that moment in time. Our daughter gets to share that moment and rebuke me for something that happened years ago and still laugh.
From there it has taken on its own life. Being able to visit the past, relive a moment and feel the same feelings as if you were right there… Words can’t express how that feels.
