Are you getting married?
If you live in The Netherlands and get married here you are bound by the Dutch marital property law. This law says that a community of all your property will start after your wedding. Unlike in other countries, in The Netherlands property owned before the wedding will also be part of this community of property. When a spouse is backrupt, all the property you own together goes to the creditors! To prevent all this, you can make a pre-nuptial agreement. Please make an appointment at least a month prior to your wedding. I'll be glad to inform you.
