1; How long has Lush Bridals been around?
Lush Bridals has been around for 6 years and have serviced over 500 brides since launch in 2008.
2; What is Lush Bridals value proposition?
Lush Bridals will offer you the most reliable and trusted service as a licensed recognized brand. Our unique team of beauty professionals will execute your desired look using their individual unique special skills & techniques which are the reason why each one of our Brides have such amazing transformations!
3; How many persons will come to my wedding and provide service?
This is all dependant on the size of your bridal party and if your party requires a la carte services or package service (both hair & makeup). Generally it is anywhere from 1 – 5 persons. This information will be provided to you with your quote.
4; How long should a trial take?
A trial can take 2 – 3 hours but 3 hours are booked. During the trial your stylist will chat with you and spend some time understanding your skin and hair. They can determine things such as appropriate heat temperature for your hair, length of time to curl, how your hair holds the curl, if your skin has a high absorbancy to makeup, which colours best suit you and etc.
5; Will my makeup and hair application take 3 hrs on the day of my wedding?
No, the results of the trial will help your stylist so they can create your look without issues within anywhere from 1 hours with a team of 2 working simultaneously or 1.5 hours with just your trial stylist.
6; How much time is allotted for each member of my bridal party?
We previously allotted 30 mins per hair and 30 mins per makeup. This time is now extended to 45 mins per hair and 45 mins per makeup. If a team of 2 is working on a client then a total of 45 mins per person is allotted. The larger the bridal party and the more services required, the larger the team we will send.
7; Will I have the same artist as my trial artist?
Yes, a Master artist will come for your trial. A Master artist also known as the Team Lead is trained in both hair and makeup. They will create your look at the trial and with their team re create it the day of your wedding.
8; Where are the trials held?
For your convenience we offer mobile salon services. This means the trial will be at the location of your choice.
9; How do we make payments?
Your first payment will be made via PayPal and will cover your trial and associated mobile fees and taxes. Your second payment will be payable at the trial if you wish to solidify your wedding booking. It can be made in cash, cheque (available only for weddings dated 10 business days away) or via mastercard or visa using our Square card reader. Your final payment is payable the day of your event up front to avoid any hassles when your nerves are at their highest point right when your application has been completed. You may pay in cash or with mastercard or visa using our Square card reader.
10; How early in advance should I book?
It’s best to book at least 6 months in advance minimum, especially for those with wedding dates in the spring & summer months as they are the busiest and book VERY quickly anywhere from 8-12 months in advance.
July through till September is the busiest time of the year for all Bridal vendors. Most of us book 1 year in advance for these months.
May and June are quite busy due to High School Graduation as well all long weekend dates require early booking of up to 12 months to guarantee your date.
9; Do you have a minimum persons per event?
Due to our high booking rate we have a 6 person minimum for A La Carte bookings or 4 person min for any multi service/package booking. eg: hair & makeup combined.
For out of region bookings there is a 6 -9 person minimum based off of service needs.
