Located in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains less than an hour from Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC lies Forest City's best kept secret, the Carolina Event & Conference Center (CECC).  

With quality of service and delicious food at the forefront of our business, we strive to make your day exceptional for both you and your guests. Although we start with a standard price point, each event is different and it is our goal to create a package specifically designed around your wants and needs.  

Our full-time Chef will assist in creating a menu designed specifically to your tastebuds.  Want to offer your guests alcoholic beverages?  We can help with that too.  

Our Grand Ballroom, with cast iron chandeliers and beautiful hard-wood floors is the chosen room for most events,but we do offer an outdoor patio and serene gardens as additional spaces for your celebration.  Many couples choose to marry beneath the arbor and have pictures taken in the gazebo or on our bridge covering the coy pond.  

We also offer a bridal suite and a groom's lounge if couple's choose to dress at the venue prior to their big moment.  These rooms can also be utilized as smaller dining spaces for pre-celebration gatherings, such as a bridal shower or other special event.  

Although we have a list of preferred vendors, we invite you to choose those individuals who best fit your taste and budget.  We will provide a dedicated planner to assist in putting together the big picture and make sure your day runs smoothly.
