The Dutch-American violinist Ian de Jong has built his reputation on moving performances that always adhere to the highest standards of technical excellence. Every project is seen as a new challenge - a new chance for development and exploration as an artist. A highly experienced player at special events, Ian has played for wedding ceremonies, funerals, birthday parties and in countless other settings. People he has worked with describe his playing as "intense," "creative," and "very convincing."
I look forward to working with you at your wedding, business party, reception, or service. I play alone or in a group (duo, trio, quartet or larger!), as solo concert artist or as background music. Classical music as well as jazz, rock, country, and folk are al possibilities at your event. Do you live in the Amsterdam area? September 25- Tutti viool with the Nexus Orchestra in the Nieuwe Kerk, Chamber Music Festival The Hague.
September 24 - Solo violin at a wedding at Slot Zeist.
September 16- Short solo concert at an 80th birthday party in Restaurant Chapeau! Bloemendaal.
September 10 and 11- Recording in Power Sound Studio in Amsterdam with the Ricciotti Ensemble, the Most Fun Orchestra in Holland.
September 9- String trio (2 violins, cello) and gypsy jazz trio (2 violins, gitaar) at a wedding at Landgoed Eikenrode, Loosdrecht.
Augustus 20 and 21 - Tutti viool with the NJO Symfonieorkest in Orpheus Apeldoorn and Concertgebouw De Vereniging Nijmegen, under direction of Xian Ziang.
