Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Creating a wedding day is a lot of work with tons of decisions crammed into a fairly short time frame. Over the past 18 years, I have been helping couples through the process of forming one of the most important days ever imagined. Often I have received feedback from couples regarding their wedding ceremonies specifically citing the length being perfect, the focus being just right, and expressing appreciation of the support that was provided. The wedding day is beautiful and the ceremony should be one of the most significant times you will ever be part of. I would love to talk and see if I am the right person to help you create this experience.

Ceremony Package:

Fees-
Complete Package $500 (initial meeting, customization of vows and content, rehearsal, ceremony and license processing). Premarital counseling package available if desired.
Additional fees may apply for travel.

Vows-
I have some excellent relationship and/or traditional faith based vows that many have found to be a great fit for their intentions towards one another. You may also choose to customize or write your vows so that your ceremony reflects the exact words you want to say on that special day.

Wedding Coordinating-
As a minister, I can provide some coordinating of the wedding party for an extra fee. Whenever possible, I highly recommend you find someone to coordinate for you to ensure the quality and orderliness of the event.

Ceremony Checklist- To get you thinking...

• Book Your Officiate- Schedule a meeting with your pastor, minister or justice of the peace as soon as possible. Find out availability, fees and what kinds of ceremonies they perform. Make sure you feel comfortable with them being part of your special day.

• Wedding license- 40 days out- don’t wait till the last minute, plan ahead and visit your local county records online to get information necessary. You will both need to show up in person at their office to fill out necessary paperwork. Request a copy for your own records.

• Type of Ceremony- How does your faith relate to your ceremony? What faith-based aspects do you want to include? Prayer, scripture reading and other symbols are often included in many weddings. If you want to include aspects of your faith, you should discuss this openly. Decide if you would you rather focus on relationship principles more than faith principles in the ceremony. What is the message you really want communicated?

• Traditions- Discuss anything you may want to have as part of the ceremony from candle lighting, special readings, special music, communion or other family traditions. What will be the most important things to have during the ceremony?

• Vows- Do you want traditional vows or do you want to create contemporary vows? Would you like to write personal vows or use the options given by your officiate?

• Rings- Will you be exchanging rings? Do you want a ring bearer? Do you want to write special vows for the exchange?

• Music- What music do you want to have for the entrance of the bridal party? Which song will you play when you walk down the aisle? What song would you like to have for the end (recessional)?

• Time- How long do you want your ceremony to be? Some want a short ceremony and others opt for longer ceremonies. The length will depend on what traditions you choose and how long you would like the message or address to be. Pastor Mike typically performs wedding that are 15-20 minutes in length.
